this is just a toy to "test new waters" with..already have an offroad rig, fullsize bronco, just trying to see what cool stuff i could do with our spare vehicle

Kits are expensive for beater Kicks..
Recipe for a Cheap Track / Kick Beater: Applies for 2wd or 4wd
C-THE-SKY
1. Flip the strut mount up top
2. Install a set of 86 Ranger 4wd front coils up front (Flip the Ford coils top to bottom and cut 1" off of the narrow pig tail) Ex cab or explorer will work too.
3. Add a set of TJ front coils in the rear (TJ's, Xj's, ZJ's, aftermarket lift ect...)
4. Fab up a modified upper rear link spacer at the top of the rear diff (drop 2-3" reward 1"-2") trim the wheel well to fit and add a d-shaft spacer.
5. Adjust with Ebay Jeep coils spacers to taste / cut the id to 2 1/4".
6. Make sure that you have the 5.13:1 rear, Weld the diff.
7. Modify the Bump stops, add limit straps.
8. Get the alignment out of left field.
9. Reinforce the idler arm,
10 Add a strut tower brace and Get it on!!!
2wd & 4wd are nearly the same.
Individual results will very, may not be street worthy. I take no claim for your building actions...

...i havent even looked under it yet ... mines a 2wd..so it could be diff,,
Then look at it first before wasting anybody's time newb! :mad3:
WTF!!!
You cannot do SOA :flipoff2: :shaking:
The only diff btw 2 and 4 wheel drive is the lack of FWD hardware in 2WD. Suspension is the same (other then some slight spring rate diff).
Do us all a favour and at least look at the damn thing before asking another stupid question or making a dumb statment :flipoff2:
