If you're trying to do this for Rich, shouldn't it go on the CalROCS website too? I simply do not have time to write an article for Rich.

There will be link to it on the CalROCS page, but Brandon and i wanted to keep it on the RCRC and 4X4STUFF.COM pages so we can keep control and a close eye on it. We don't wanna give you and him more work we wanna help. Like you said journalism work is VERY time consumming, especially updating mantaining and constatly editing all the many sponsor links and such, and i know you guys are plenty busy already. :) :)


I wrote the Pre-evnt write up in hopes of answering spectators questions and getting people excited, thereby helping out Rich so he can focus on the really importatnt stuff.


Bottom line is ....I just write .. Brandon is in charge distribution. :) :)

Everyone is envited to the TIN:skull:BENDER camp on Saturday night for :beer: bonfire, and $hit talkin. We have 4 members entered (myself,fatkid,h8monday, and John with the scorpion) Should be a great time. Tell all your friends, this is a virgin trail and should be a good show.

Great advice though! I'll throw a banner up there and make it obvious. Any other suggestions greatly appreciated. I know you don't have the time, so now all ya gotta do is link this one and I even found a bunch more links that are at the bottom that you can use as well.

Only reason I didn't simply hand it over is that I wanted control. Might sound bad but look at most of my tech articles here with dead links :(

I'll be sending Rich the details,but just so you know, the BLM wont let us camp on their part of the Dry Lake, I suspected this and we Lions have made arrangements with two private landowners on the lake, along both sides of the entry road to the park, for parking and dry camping.
These two landowners have almost 200 acres between them, so i don't think parking will be a problem. Tentatively parking will be $2/day, and camping will be $10-12/day. In addition there are campgrounds with hookups within 8-9 miles. Details to follow.
So now the questions i have to deal with are the important ones, like how many kegs should i buy? How many tri-tip steak dinners should i plan on. What else can the Lions do for you so as to ensure a good time for all (forget it,i already told ya, bring yer own wemmin).
The Lions will be serving breakfast all three mornings; pancakes, egg burritos, etc. YeeHaw..i cant wait.

:confused: I know Lance, but that's the way it is. They consider Rabbit Dry Lake and ecologically sensitive area. They were willing to let us use a small portion for "overflow" parking for a fee, but their conditions made it better for us to find private alternatives. Desertoy and his brother grew up ripping that lake on their bikes and buggies, as well as many other "coming of age" activities, but none of that is allowed now. You may have heard about our local ranchers and their losing battles with the BLM.

Lions Pride Park IS and always WILL BE PRIVATE. We use it for the public's benefit, but WE Lions will run it (End of Rant):D

Dancing? Yes, no problem. We have a covered patio/beer garden/dance floor. We're working with Rich to get some kind of music.
Showers? Well....yes; depends on how bad you want one. We have two showers; one for men, one for women, but we use them when it's over 100 degrees outside. We don't have hot water to them yet. We have two deep wells and i figure the water temp should be in the 40's :rasta:
