WillyPete 02-01-2002, 10:35 PM what vehicle did you get the tf999 out of? if you got it out of an AMC product, then it should have the 6 bolt pattern and the D300 will be a direct bolt up, no adapters necessary Blitzed 02-02-2002, 07:37 PM If your using the down east kit no you dont need and adater. They use a modified input bearing in the 300 so it will fit all 23 spline tranny with the round NP bolt pattern (ie ax-15, nv3500,aw-4,tf999). If you are putting just a plain old 300 behind a AW-4 or ax-15 you need a spacer, nv3500 needs the output shaft milled/ground down 1/8" or a spacer, and the tf999 needs nothing. | |
