what are the drawbacks of solid mounting the case? some reason i think it would be stronger because there would be no movement for fatiguing. ya you should have poly for shock loading but...what do you think?

I solid mounted mine to my sid plate that all my links are also attached to. No vibes and have never looked back. Works flawlessly.

did you just use the stock 4 bolt mounts or did you reinforce it at all?

I used the stock mounting holes and location on the t-case but encorporated the mounts into the skid plate. Basically braced and gusseted 1/4 inch comes up from the skid and cradles the t-case.
