Sorry guys, A few weeks ago some one had a ? about narrowing the hood on a samurai and I replied I think Billj ask me to post pics. The hood is norrowed 13 inches. What do you think ?

I guess I am not seeing how you narrowed it 13 inches? Looks like it matches the stock cab and window lines. Did you narrow the entire chassi or what? On my old rig I ran a narrowed hood that was 9 inches slimmer and it looks quite a bit more skinny than yours. Please elaborate.

Looks kinda shortened in the big pic.

Sorry I dont have any cut pics. But it was very easy. I just started at the back of the hood and pie cut it. Had to add a piece to it because it can up short at the front.

I'd post pictures of mine, but camera crapped out. Tubed the front and cut 16" out of the front width on the hood. Also bobbed off the back and tubed it out. Looks much smaller now.:D

Had to move my front clip forward to make room for my Radiator for my 4.3 so while I was at it I narrowed the front clip by 8" as well. Just got through installing the radiator and hood closes and looks like it's working out!!!!
