i'd put this in the newb forum but i'd figure i'd get better responses here.
how do I remove my bearing races from my housing ends on my 9 inch? I'm guessing i need a bearing puller of some sort? Those things have been cemented in there for years and will not budge. thanks for the help only one definitive respose will be needed!!

You might try a slide hammer made for the bearings. You can get them from Auto-Zone on there rent a tool. Just a deposit then it's all good once you return it.

you can use a small crow bar and tap on it LIGHTLY if a hammer and work your way around it. It will come right out. Done many of them that way.

I was lacking for tools once, and I use a claw hammer and worked it out.. booty, but works.. a slide hammer with a hook on the end is, IMHO, the best way.

if you have a welder you can run a full circle bead on the race and it'll pop right out.

Borrowed the slidehammer with attachments from AZone and they came out super easy.
