vaccuum leak, or in my case, the TB itself was the cause of my problem.

ok so suppose it is a vaccum leak. ive heard that you can take a butan(sp?) torch and crack it open and run it near the vaccum lines and when the idle changes then that how you know where the vaccum leak is. is this true?

could also be a air bubble in the coolant system there is a temp sensor that tells the computer to idle up the motor when it is cold

How about your throttle cable, is it adjusted properly?

ya the throttle cable is fine. cause at idle there is a little slack in it so i know its not pulling the throttle open.

Did you let it warm up all the way? :D
You are running the stock TBI?
