Okay, in the coming months i will be looking for a 72' bronco. can any one tell me where is the best place to find one in good cond. etc etc, pros and cons on this.
because my plans for is is so far this.
put a 6 in. sup lift on it, 35 tires, cb and have my father tweak up the motor since he is a mech. he works for surburban ford here in sac.
i am a dumbass and will willing admit when it comes to trucks i fall in dumbass 101 so any info this i would be happy on.
also plan to get a custom paint job on it in black and get a snarling timber wolf on it, and if i can not get my hands on a 72' i then plan to get a 78 bronco.
:D  :smokin:

check in Truck Trader, Sac Bee Clasifieds and any of the Early Bronco web sites. Why '72 specificly? For pre smog in Cali. look for '73 and older. All are good to start with but look for 70 1/2(I think thats the cutoff) up to '77 for a D-44 front end. don't pass up looking at a older one 'cause someone may have already swapped out the D-30 infavor of the D-44.

good luck

Thank you for the info. I will be using my truck to go 4x4 mostly then the drive around town all that fun crap.
I like that year cuzz one the smog and two the style and size. i am a small only 5'3 and it seems just the right size for me to be able to drive and control, if not then a full size bronco is next in line :D

it must be nice to be able to look in the truck trader and find a drivable '72 bronco.I had to scronge farmers field to find mine and I had to buy 3 rusted heaps in order to build one.I guess that's the trade off for no emmisions laws.all our stuff rots to crap before it gets old.And with our canadian dollar being worth 60 cents it's not worth importing stuff.
