Anyway, here it is... the mother lode... a contest (which will be televised)
to build ANY vehicle and take it into machine-to-machine combat with other contestants.
Yes, you heard right... part Junkyard Wars, part Battle Bots, part MadMax, part Monster Truck Challenge.

The team must be able to fix, repair or jury-rig the vehicle in any way possible to get it working and at least one team member must have driving and racing experience."


The great part is they give the money to build it.
All you need is three people and some time.

Sooo... 3 vehicles (with drivers) are gonna do a life-sized battle bots kinda thing? Sounds like a lot of fun to watch, but anyone think a little dangerous for the driver's???

Heres some info on it:
1- The $$ limit is currently $1000, but teams can add more, if its their $$$. Producer it trying to get more from the sponsors.
2- The team has 1 month to build the rig.
3- It sounds like a 4x4 Demolition Derby, of sorts.

Not a whole lot of money to do a lot with and theres always the possibility of a big money team dropping a ton of money into it???

They will pay for the ride, shipping to England where the competition is, food and stay for a team of 3 people, and other stuff.

One of my freinds e-mailed them about it and asked if there is a rule on having Offensive items on the rig.
Such as weapons, etc...
Since they said it had to hold up against one another
The reply said they have not decided yet, and will let us know by the end of Feb.
