I have a closed knuckle dana 44 out of a 65 chevy pickup. I was wondering if anyone has a diagram of the front end tore down, like out of a manual like haynes or something like that. Also if anyone knows why my tires camber is like this:/---\ instead of like this l---l . I need all the help I can get, especially where I can get parts for this thing. thanks

I guess nobody can help me out. I'm new to this board and never have tore a closed knuckle apart, and I'm sure some of you have before. So any help would be great. I need to fix this ASAp since it's on my daily Driver.

i dont have any picts, but the closed nuckle setup isnt much differnt...it has kingpins, the outers arent all that much different than a normal 44... as for the tires...i would say that its from ur kingpins being worn out...allowing them to lean in... for what it would cost to rebuld that rear, ur priolly better off gettin a normal rear and swapping it out. should be a bolt in install, u would just have to change ur master over to accept the disk brakes

nobody likes them . the joints are small[233] and drums suck goat!
if you cant find a break down for the d44 look at solid toy axles, they are a closed knuckel king pin also.
thundr said it and i'll repeat get newer axles and upgrade your master cylinder. tsm and other comps make bolt in power brakes for those years.
