I can only directly compare them to tuff country and skyjacker. But my experiance is the BDS rides stiffer but is much better behaived on highway on ramps and such. Also after a season of hard wheeling loaded down they didnt sag like the tuff country and BDS. As far as flex shocks and fender clearance was the real issue.

These Springs kick ass over my RE ones i had. But that is because the RE ones are really procomp springs...

I think the ride is good, I run revolvers (yeah yeah yeah I know but for me they work) with Extra long shocks and re routed brake lines. I have 3.5" springs 2" body and TJ flares and my 33's barely fit at full flex

As far as the price, I dont really know. BostonWrangler set it up,

I called the guy and that was the price I got, I dont know if it was a special or not.

I think the key is to not get the "kit" , I got the components.

3.5" springs
Shocks (for 5" lift) BDS 5000 series (somethign like that)
6* shims
Bushings

I got it back in July. Overall I love it. Still needs some fine tuning but it rocks compared to the RE kit i had that sagged out to flat in the front and almost neg in the rear in 7 months....

dozernad,

Were those the regular RE springs or the RE Extreme? I've heard good things about the Extreme springs.

They were the regular RE ones. All in all it was a big mess. I was more or less told tough luck. They would not warrenty them because they are not RE products....

Anyway I did not have a good vibe from them.
