I know of a 77 Jeep truck for sale, not sure if it is half ton or what. What was offered that year, 1/2 and 3/4?? If it has a stick does that mean it is a T18? And what are the differences between a truck t18 and a CJ T18? In other words, is the tranny a desirable swap into a CJ or YJ??

if its a J10 thats a half ton, the 3/4 was j20

if its a stick its either a T150 3 speed, or a T18a, if its a 6yl engine itll bolt into a CJ easily.

if its behind an V8 the input shaft will be really long, like about 14 inches, and while itll fit in a cj7 or wrangler, itll be alot of wasted space there isa 5 inch spacer block between teh bellhousing and trans, it can be swapped for a Ford T18 shaft though then bolted to a T150 bellhousing, and its the shortest granny tranny you can put in a CJ with the factory Dana20 adapter.
