Have a question for some of you. This is in regards to spherical rod ends/ball joint rod ends/"heim" joints, whatever for adjustable control arms...
Anyway, I was curious what everyone thought of anodized aluminum housing ones. I found an excellent price on some of these from McMaster-Carr. Here is the description...
All have red anodized aluminum housing, chrome plated 52100-bearing steel ball, and Teflon-lined carbon steel race. Price ea. $20.57
The size I am looking at have a static radial load cap. at 8516 lbs. Would there be a problem with using aluminum because I am a little apprehensive about it? How about the threads (i.e. jam nut tightening when retaining the ends)
