Stazworks has just invested in a new size wheel.
To compliment the new 22" tires out there we are now offering 22" double beadlocks in any width and most any bolt pattern. We have even come out with some new center designs to compliment the 22's.
We would like to sell all the rims with a trussed front plate that incresses strength incredibly and makes bending centers next to impossible. This is going to be one of the toughest wheel we have ever made, and because of the trussing it can be made out of lighter materials to keep the weight very reasonable. Check out the draftings below to see how the front plates will be trussed. This will be a show quality wheel that can hold more than its own offroad!
We will offer this rim style in a 5 and 6 spoke rim. The 6 spoke rims will be used for the rims with rockwell, unimog and volvo bolt paterns.

Like always different center designs will be available upon request.

With some help we have purchased near $16,000 of inventory to make these rims happen and ensure availability.

The price on these rims is not quite set,

Sweet!!! Is this design only available in the 22s, or on other sizes also? Just waiting on my steering so I can measure for mine.

These will also be available with a stamped center!
We are in the middle of purchasing a 275 ton press for doing this.
The first pressed centers were done just this week for the med. duty 20's and turned out exceptionally well. The pressed centers are available with most any of the centers designs and double the resistance to side load over a straight center plate!

nice, as long as the welds don't leak like the set of 16.5s we got.... :mad3:

 You got a set from me that had leaky welds?
who was the order under? Did you ever tell me about it?

we got some 16.5x12 wheels for some 49 iroks...and all of them leaked around the o-rings. then we used silicone and got the o-rings to seal, then the next day we had a flat....when we filled them back up and sprayed water on them, there were a couple pin holes in the welds, i had to weld them up and now they hold....we just need to tear them back down and get them re-powdercoated....
the order was either under Rocket City Offroad, or under Dan Euto

I remember the wheels but do not remember hearing anything about any trouble with them. If there is a problem I need to hear about it so I can fix it for future customers at least. If you dont mind I would like a phone call from you to discuss what actually went wrong. I know the o-rings can be a pain to get sealed. I have been doing things a bit differantly latly to help in that area. As for pinholes, I have heard very few problems with them, but it can happen, I am interested in more details on them as well.
please just give a call to the shop if you have a chance sometime today and we can discuss it.

Here is some pics of the stamped centers. We feel these add around 75-100% more resistance to bending from side load. These are available now in med. duty 20's with a rock well and unimog patern. The option will soon become available for the light 20's and the 22's next. What size will be available after that will be determined by demand. the price for this option will be around 60$ per rim. Stamped centers are available with any of the designs right now.

We have been doing many pressed centers lately and due to the results most all rims will start coming with pressed centers.

Glad to see your products are still in the "constant-improvement-program".

definetely what I want to run on my cj....... alloys would be nice, just due to

shear weight savings alone, but for durability, your rims gotta be the toughest

out there.....

What does most alloys weigh?
There is always ways to lighten my rims, I have yet to figure out to what extent but there are some ideas in mind to save some weight.

I'd think that John's rims, minus the rock rings, would be very close to the weight of an average alloy beadlock especially if it was a double lock. My StazWorks rims weight just about 46lbs each with the rock ring and I hear that it weighs around 7 lbs. . .these are 15x10s.

All the wheels are off road use only.
I can do a 20 in a superduty wheel non beadlock if you like though that could perform on road with no problem. There would be a few differant way to do it so if you are interested it would be best to just give me a call about it.
