i tried the coil thing and they limit the travel of the 4 link. so i'm goin 1/4 elliptic. what's the best way to mount the springs to the chassis? and will stock rear blazer (k-5) springs work? my rig is a rail job and only weighs about 1900lbs and sprung weight on the rear is not much cause my buddy can hold it up while i change parts etc. i was thinking of swapping out some of the blazer pack with some wrangler springs, if it's too stiff? any help and especially pics would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried the search? Search for 1/4* that will get alot of results. Here's one: http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=20264&highlight=1%2F4%2A
Not to change your mind about the coils but, maybe you need to try some that are more suited for the weight you have on em.
Scott has some soft coils on his project: http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=21329
Coilovers are cool too!!!! :D

thanks, and yes, i have done all the searches on this board and others. i just looked at em again just to make sure.but my specific questions were not answered there. if i get a soft enough coil to get the flex i'm after, i'll have no stabiity on off camber stuff. i'm hoping since the 1/4 ell's are stiffer goin up then down, that i'll get awesome droop and some resistence on off camber stuff from the low side being harder to compress than a coil.
p.s that freeekin toyota is badass. I WANT IT.
