Extreme Beef! Front Corporate 14 bolt axle. Shown on page 27 of the new 4 wheel & offroad. Here's another pic at the WMS page (http://www.wagonermachine.com/corp_14.htm)
Who gonna be the first one here to get one of these?:skull:

I'm not sure what the advantage is. They still use dana 60 ends, and the big ring gear is over kill on a front axle, not to metion it's weaker now that is turned around. It's definetly neat, but a waste of time.
what's the advantage besides being different and smoothing the rocks down for everone else, and correct me if I am wrong but isn't it 1.5" 30 spline.... sounds like the less for more plan nice jeep though

Not quite the pirates trailer, but still pretty cool...

futher back in that same mag is a write up of the orange toyota, the one on front of the trailer.
I've seen John take that thing many places. That 14 up front doesn't get in his way! There not too many folks around this part of the country that build rigs like those guys! Go WMS!

Thanks a lot STJ. You just HAD TO go and ruin all my fun. I guess they're obsolete anyways, since you could just go Rockwells.
But, obviously not everybody knew about it. And if I got to just 1 person, it was worth it:p

They still use the 30-spline inners that a normal 14-bolt does. So, I guess technically, they're weaker than a d60 front. But when d60 fronts are so damned expensive and you own a shop with the capability to make custom shafts all the time, it would be worth it. If they could manage to sell their parts cheap enough it might be worth it for their customers, too.

Why do it...because he can. I know John and Mark and they are really great guys, and will tell you anything you want to know. If you owned a machine shop, and had the same front axle as everybody else, what fun would that be? Now, a 14 bolt front, that's something that nobody else has, and is great advertisement for the capabilities and creativity of the machine shop.
