Just picked up an 85 Dana 70HD out of a 1 ton diesel to match the front 78 RC Dana 60,my 79 Bronco should be a 1 ton by the spring:D

cool, same route I ended up going. I got a 70U out of a 85 Crewcab w/the 6.9 though. Mine came out of a 2wd, maybe your HD came from a 4wd... dunno
