I have two sbc bellhousings. They are both aluminum and have the larger register for the bearing retainer. Neither has any noticable damage that I can see.

One has the ball stud on the side and a release arm. Price: $35.00

The other is a bare bellhousing. Price: $25.00

I know that one of them is from a 79ish with a straight 6. It had an SM465. The other came in with some other stuff and wasn't attached to an engine. They are both identical.

FWIW - here's the casting numbers etc.

GM 460486 located on the passenger side.

It has the 5 1/8" register

No stripped holes.
