Tryin to get my hydro clutch setup straight on my SM465.. The maifold on the drivers side is in the way of putting a line to it. :shaking:

I checked out an 87 with a hydro clutched 465 and the drivers side manifold drops down in between the middle and rear horns to clear the slave cylinder. Is there any other 350 manifolds that would drop like that? I need something ASAP and CHEAP. My wife is wanting her ride back cause Ive been driving it for the last 2 weeks... :(

I need options, opinions...anyone got a manifold laying around that would work? :grinpimp:

man, I got like 20-25 manifolds in the grain bin. I will go look. If no one else chimes in with one to help you out, I will probably be able to come up with on. Shipping could take a day or 2 though :(
I broke the tranny all the way in half on the sheep yesterday, and building another one today. The hill that I rolled on the night we went to Bonita and Tangos and that ben rolled on 2 weeks ago got owned by both of us. I need fuel injection. Now my friend has a 670 cfm holley throttle body and sensors that completes all of my needs to have 1989 vintage tbi for my shit. Just need a way to get it on there, guess I will be calling your dad soon. The money is from the yellow blazer that mr. bastard off here sold me. Squiggy is buying it.

The first pic is of a SBC that had a 465 on it, the second is a manifold off a 350 that is slightly differnt looking but would probly work for him.

I "think" either of those would work. Any worries on manifold runners being different diameter? That would suck to have the passenger side going faster than the drivers :shaking: Surely a GM manifold is a GM manifold is a.......

That engine pictured there came factory that way. The passenger side manifold comes right out hte back like normal, so I can't see how there would be any problems with it.

P.S. That engine has been to hell and back. :laughing: :laughing:

I just went and counted. I have 7 of them. more than half are the kind that go low like the first pic. the other few are the up top style like the second one

Did you happen to take that manifold with you? I got one of the style like on the engine in the above pics. Not sure how its going to work out but I was still curious about running the latter style.
