Trimming the trees back by the fence had an unexpected consequence... the nice secluded clump of trees which grows so green... is now in sight of the neighbor's kitchen window. The angle of inclination keeps business shielded, for the most part, but this evening, I discovered that it is awkward to wave to the neighbors while draining excess fluid -- even if they don't know, it still feels kinda odd, y'know?

I have hot and cold water on the inside wall of the garage -- are there any economical wall-mount solutions out there? Seems like a j-trap and a lever valve would give most of the function required. As nice as those motion-sensor shitters are, I really can run that lever on my own. :p

A buddy had a urinal a plumber friend gave him in his garage. It wasn't perfect, but worked well for what it had to do. Just wait 'til the inspector is gone and mount it on a wall, trap it and run the pipe outside to a buried plastic 55 gallon drum filled with pea gravel and tons of holes drilled in it. Poor man's septic tank. Comes in handy when the beer comes out and no one wants to go inside.

Damn, digging up the past aren't we?

It was redneck and not going to win any sanitary district awards, but it was so nice peeing in the corner of a heated shop and I'll be damned if the grass wasn't always greener in the summer there.:D

You could always fab up a stainless or metal trough if you wanted to get creative and just trap it. Throw in a pool tablet if need be, but my buddy never really had odors with his. A simple 1/2" water line with a ball valve would be real cheap and effective for flushing. Maybe run a piece of pipe after the valve on the backsplash of the trough and drill a hole every inch or so to rinse the trough.

Nah don't waste your valueable time on fabbing one up although it would look a lot cooler you could make it maybe out of Diamond plate.. but Maintenance Warehouse( HOME DEPOT) has them item# 564911 it is only $120 has a 3/4 MIP fitting on top you could hook up a ball valve to flush it with real easy..or pay the $90 extra for the flush valve. I saw a cheapy Plastic one when I visited San Fran and went to Alcatraz, same design just made of white plastic i would imagine LOwes', Menards or even Grainger would have them special order. and most local plumbing supply warehouses

IF you get to pissin to much around the shop it doesn't smell to hot when it rains....

That was HORRIBLE. :p

If I do this, I'll probably inset it into the outside wall and set it up with a door to swing shut over it... thanks for the ideas, folks.

If you are going to do that why not have a trap dooor leading out and hope it's long enough to reach??

The approved drain sites at Fenway Park are just 15 foot section of U-chanel. A little higher on one end with both ends capped. Gets a little akward when there is a rush. So many guys try to jam in there that you aren't standing square with the target anymore. Ends up like this:
