I know of a 78 f150 with a 351m, obviously has the Ford 9 Inch rear in it..........wondering what gears came stock in these rear ends? Looking to put it in my derby car, just wondering what gears it more than likely has?thanks

odds are 3.50's, but there's a chance they'll be 2.75's or 3.0's if stock

If it is 4wd more than likely 3.50. I've never seen a 4wd with anything but 3.50s.
If you are interested, I have an open diff with 2.70 gears from a 2wd f-250 (31 spline).
The housing is rusted pretty bad, but the internals are new. I pulled it from a boneyard to get spare axles. I also have one spare axle that is in good shape and one that the splines are worn.
Let me know, I would trade it all for a couple cases of beer.

some 4x4's came with 3.0's starting in either 78 or 79, can't remember exactly, but it was one of those.
