: converting my cj-7 yoo coils design question

In the process of converting my cj too coils springs.I saw the rubicon express extreme kit for TJ's.The front arms look like a Y with two points attached too axle and one point attached too frame with a track bar for axle movement control. One of the short links of the Y is adjustable for pinion angle. The end that attachs too frame has a big hiem.the other ends are bushings.it looks like it flexs good.My thinking is that is would make it very much like the front of early broncos. But more flexable because of hiem and two mounting points on axle instead of c bushing clamp.this is going too be a 80% offroad 20% onroad vehicle.
MY questions.
1.what are your feelings about this kind of link system for the front looks like it flexs very good .Any problems or concerns you would have about this setup.

2.Would this work good for the rear also.I seem too remember some people with early broncos that converted the rear too the front suspention and seemed OK.

Any input would help.

Bigd,

I don't see any problems with the RE design except that the mounts hang to low, you may want to degsign the mount so that it is above the frame line or in the frame to give you extra clearance. As far as the rear goes, I have never seen it done but I am sure it would work.
