Picked up a 99 super duty a few days ago. 128000 mls and no record of whether or not it has ever had any sort of trans work . I really wanted a manual but as you now there hard to find and I was made a great deal on this truck, The question I have is, when the trans makes the 2-3 shift it seams to take about 3 or 4 seconds to complete the shift and doesnt seam near as firm as 1-2. The 3-4 shift allso seams a bit slow. Normal or not?The fluid color looks good and has little if any odor but again, Im not sure if it has been serviced recently or not. :confused:
