I did a search and didn't find what I was looking for. Also chacked Woodys site and found only one refrence and was hoping for a little more info. I just got my 420/3spd bolted up and don't have any x-case shift linkage. I'd really like to go mechanical with one lever for hi/low and another for 2/4wd. The guy that rebuilt my x-case (not naming names but has a 'cruiser shop on main street in Placerville) ended up with my vacume shift components. Anyone out there have a kit fabed or any pics. to make my life easier? Thanks in advance

I'm in the same boat, so I started fabbing up some custom linkage. I used a 5x6 inch piece of 3/16 plate, a 5/8 x 6 inch bolt and a piece of 1 inch OD, 5/8 ID pipe to make a bell crank. I plan on using the stock shift lever to make a 1 lever arrangement similar to stock. I would have gotten farther along if I didn't take out time this afternoon to watch the game.

I'm taking pictures and making templates, so if it works out as planned I will write it up and post it.

Thanks guys. Pix and drawings are good as I tend to be hard headed sometimes. Since I don't have the x-case shift lever, I would assume that I could just fab something up or steal my friends twin stick from his old d300.

Sorry about the delay on the pics:( I meant to take them yesterday before driving the rig down to the shop for the cage welding. I got so fired up about the cage, that I turned into a total spazz and forgot about the pics. I'll get them in the next couple days, really :D
