I am looking into purchasing a Dana 24 for a 2WD to 4WD conversion.

Question is:

Is this TC reverse or standard roatation for the front drive.

...I could check after I buy it, but that misses the point!

All transfercase front outputs spin the same direction, there is no such thing as a "reverse rotation" transfercase (at least not for vehicles like ours). You might be thinking about a common misnomer for high pinion front axles. They are often called "reverse rotation", but spin in the same direction as low pinion (standard rotation -another misnomer) axles.

Yeah, it was the "reverse roatation" nomenclature that got me to thinking.

I guess I never paid attention on things that were factory built to look at the font output...
