I just installed my 2" body lift... I had all the bolts loosened around the steering column. The plate on the firewall off After I was done The steering is Stiff as hell. Even the turn signal switch is tight. A quarter turn in either direction results in a CLUNK..... this was the Ujoint that go's into the steering box... The Previous owner put on a 2 wd F150 box.. Is this box longer than stock and so its shortened my steering shaft too much When I increased the angle?? Do I need a dual U joint set up now. Any help would be appreciated..
Thanks

When I did my BL I needed to add a second u-joint to the shaft. Now I can steer with one finger.

I used 2 spicer steering joints and a solid shaft. Bullit proof. Bought it from Pete at BP before he went under and before I had my shop. I haven't needed to buy them agian, so I do not know the part numbers. They are about 50 bucks each and splined accordingly. Try calling Driveline Service, or see if Pete still answers the phone.
