: 205 doubler

how hard would it be two mate to np 205 t-case's together that should give me a really good crawl ratio? right what do i need to buy got the 2 tcase's already

You need the doubler setup from Offroad Design. It uses a 203 and a 205, not a pair of 205's. You dump the chain section of the 203, and the 205 bolts to the back of the 203 with an adapter/spacer and a shaft.

this popped up a while ago...I would like to know if it would be possible to mate a newer 205 with a 32 spline input to another 205's rear output, then make an adapter somehow. Have the first 205 with the 6 bolt circle pattern clocked up so you can run the front driveshaft off of the second. However if you were running a GM 205 followed by a Ford 205, you could run a driver drop axle in a GM, and not have to worry about clocking anything.

it will cause a lot of extra drivetrain length. the 203 range box is just as strong and it is short with the right adapter plate system. Anything is possible, but not short wheelbase friendly
