Im a fairly new owner of a 72 bronco, Im interested in power steering and

figured I could rob a unit off a junk yard truck, not sure which years/models

would be best, also any one have any ideas on 5 speed trani's? is one better

than the rest?

Search there are tons of options.
I have a 78-79 Bronco steering box in my Bronco, you have to change the worm gear or the box spins the wrong way (turn right and go left) but the parts are stock to the 2wd boxes so it's easy. As for the pump lines exct go to the pick and pull and go to town.
As for the trany if I wanted a 5 speed instead of the 4 speed I have now I would go with a ZF 5, look here (http://bcbroncos.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=24_62&products_id=173) for the adapter.

Tranny, go with a NV4500. Unless you want to save some cash and plan on going crawling, then go with NP435 and an Atlas II.

I think the NV4500 is a Dodge 3/4 ton 5 speed trans, is that right? I'm not farmiliar with the NP435 though, what was that in?? Do you know what the newer Dodge 3/4 ton 6 speed is called??? Thanks for your advice..
