Has anyone ever used the C4 2wd short output shaft succesfully in a 4wd accplication? Picture below of 2wd short shaft. I've a spare 2wd C4 with all the parts but a rear 4wd output tailshaft to mate it up to my Dana 20.

Also, I've never found out what years the 2wd short output shaft came in. Anyone know the years?

Has anyone looked into this shaft? It seems a little cheap at only $50 for a buy now.

I believe they came in early 70's vans, and trucks with a mid bearing driveshaft.
