This is the first Rock crawling event ever shot in High Definition. Our Series events will also be shot in HD next year.

SPEED has already upped the scheduled airings to 5! More if they see people like it. If you want more 4-wheelin' shows on SPEED, and like what you see, you can give SPEED feedback at:

http://speedtv.com/feedback

We know it can be improved - give me constructive criticism and we'll listen.

Thanks for your support,

Ron

The coverage was brief but cool. Kinda weird how they put it in the middle of Jamboree coverage, but cool none-the-less.

Well over all, I talked a bunch of my friends into watching it, and it didn't keep their intrest!! truely BORING ! the Rockcrawling was interesting, but short NOT enough footage!!!! Who cares about the repairs on the rubi, who cares about the 44 axle Alloy put in? For the world premier,. I cant say it held any of my intrests. :shaking: :shaking: :shaking:

Not to mention the complaining that there are no roll pan protection available for the Unlimited. Not like it wouln't take a half hour to fab your own.

Less BS, more rocks!

Jody - I'm disappointed! The world is way bigger than Competition Stuff Only!

The build-up could have been a little more exciting... But, that is why they mixed it up with the footage of the Rubicon Trail. To keep your interest!

I loved the show! I liked learning about some of the the history of the Rubicon Trail and knowing about what goes into organizing the Jeepers Jamboree from start to end. Including the cooks and the guy that digs the holes for the toilets!

I thought the Competition section was cool because it was the competitors and spectators that told the viewers what was going on. This was real TV! It wasn't who was winning or who was loosing - it was about what was going on!

Obviously the footage of Ed and I was great! That rollover was awesome! I also enjoyed the segment with Becca. The breakage and the cartwheel she had to do to get in her vehicle was cool!

Overall, I thought the show was good! There are some things that can be improved upon and I am sure the next episode will be even better!

Thought the show was very good. Maybe a few hotties next time but the overall show had a good plot, story and good action. Personally I like the interviews and interaction with the average wheelers. A bit more emphasis could have been spent on CalRocs and mentioned in other posts, the danger of the trail being closed due to irresponsible wheelers on the trail to raise the awareness of all trails. I do understand that this is not what everyone wants to see, but someone has to step up to the plate and spread the love.
Don't think I will ever miss another Jeepers Jamboree due to the best organized event, food, people and good times they provided. Thanks to everyone! :)

PS. Ron said "constructive criticism" guys, not bashing. There was a great amount of effort for many persons, not to mention the amount of money to bring this show to air. Everything needs improvement but keeping it positive is important. We've all blown piss poor welds our first time and after a bit of coaching, it got better.

Ron, Very good coverage on Jeepers Jamboree! The coverage of Cal Roc's could have shown more as the advertising incated that both events were going to get equal airtime. I liked how you interviewed the average enthusiast, not just the vendors or competitors. This is a production that the average user can watch and learn the important history of the Rubicon Trail.

To those that are baashing the show....not all shows need to have
"extreme" wheeling....a show like this that tells the story of caring for the sport helps in keeping things open. As many people have said on this board...
don't show as much "extreme" wheeling and the party might move from the Little Sluice.

Some of the feedback I've seen from the comp-only coverage indicates that a lot of guys would rather see regular trail stuff. Sorta goes along with your comment I guess.

The only thing that absolutely perturbed me was the lady who pretty much commentated from the rig and couldn't let the guy drive for himself. She sure seemed like quite the harpy. Then she rolls her eyes at him towards the end when he does exactly what she told him to do and the rig doesn't climb the rock. I was like, "you told him to turn too late harpster!" Randy started muting her whenever her voice/rig came on the screen so I wouldn't blow up. :mad3:

But overall it was pretty good considering it was a small time slot. Less rig build up time from a pro shop and more about the home built rigs might have made it a little more interesting. :)

Yo I just call it like I see it! Don't be mad . Trail rides should be left to Side Kick Off Road! The sport needs a show That spark intrests!! that's not what I saw my friends that have never been on the trail before were bored with the show atfer the first 10 min. I was a little embarassed to make them sitt threw the hole thing just to see 5 min. of what we do!!!

I spoke to several people that saw the show - some were longtime Jeepers' and some had never 4-Wheeled in their life. The feedback I got from the two groups were similar - they enjoyed the footage of the trail stuff and the history of the trail. They liked that the people involved were the narrators and unfortunately...the comp section was too short. But overall, they enjoyed the show. They all gave Becca a :bounce2: "thumbs up" on the cartwheel into and out of her "Rockher" Rig (by the way I will be asking Becca to demonstate that manuver at the Womens National Rockcrawling Championship this weekend!)

Lisa Linker Quote from the Show: "Girl's ROCK"!

Good Show!

If it makes you feel any better, the folks I know who don't wheel (and some that DO) would be bored watching the "5 min. of what you do" ;)
