Does anyone see a problem with Swapping a 4.0L into a CJ5?

As long as it's an AMC era CJ5, should not be an issue. Earlier ones have a shorter nose, so it might be a tight fit.

The real question is why?

all I can see is smog issues, but beyond that if its a amc era on up then it should fit..

Well if its a long nose (amc) it wil lfit..

If its a short nose it might get realyl tight.

if it's a short one you can probably make it work by moving the radiator forward or useing an electric fan
