This is a little of of the subject of 4x. But I was at the pick and pull today and found a '74 Dodge Monaco. The rear axle was 5 on 4 1/2 and appeared to be a 44. Under the hood was a 2 piston belt driven air compressor. If anyone has any info on this stuff it would be appreciated.

The axle is most likely a Chrysler 9.25 rear axle with 2.73 gears which was common.
as far as the A/C compressor what do you want to know?? It was used fron at least 64 possibly earlier till 78 maybe later.
