I park my truck, 99 24v 2500 cummins, on a hill, with the front facing up the hill. when i'm parked like this sometimes the truck take a little while to start.
My concern is that the lift pump may have taken a shit, and secondly, now i'm abusing the injection pump and that will prolly take a dump.
On flat ground I havne't had any problems starting. It eventually starts on the hill, but sometimes I have to try starting it like 2 or 3 times and pump the pedal. Other times i just crank and after three seconds or so it fires.
I had to replace the inj pump last dec, and it still has a warrenty on it.
I'm gonna try to get some codes tomorrow, just seeing what you guys think.
