Someone mentioned this place in another thread about another ky offroad park (nice problem having a couple new riding places coming along about the same time) so I thought I'd post this to clear things up. I won't write about the other park because I haven't been there yet.
KY Outback Adventure Park is a pay to play offroad park (http://www.kyorvpark.com) located in the Northeastern part of KY in the big hills/mountains there. They say they have 800 acres (I'd say its at least that big) and have trails with rock obstacles, creek drives, hill climbs and just plain forest trails. This place is very hilly. They have plenty of trails (we rode all day with 5 other vehicles and never went on the same trail twice while we passed up a number of other trails), and the trails are awesome.
This place is a 2 hour drive from Cincinnati, OH. They are just getting started. The place does not have a building or electricity. They tell me that this is in the works and that they should have it all done in the next few months. For right now they are only offerring primitive camping and you need to let them know if you'll be camping so that they'll have port-o-johns set up for you.
For riding they give you a topo map (the trails aren't marked. They told us that they're working on this), a discussion regarding the boundaries, and some ideas on where you might want to start to get a feel for the place. They suggested that we start off with a basic creek drive that was over 1.5 miles long and no one had problems with this even though there were some tough spots you could go out of your way for to make it much more interesting. Then we decided to tackle some of the more challenging trails, and they were much more challenging.
If you want a place where you can go out and get after it then this is a good place for you.
