The Az Undertakers are hosting the 2nd trail Marathon November 20 & 21. We'll be stepping up a notch this year with 8 trails in the Florence Jct. area on Saturday and 6 at Table Mesa on Sunday. The idea is for two rigs to form teams and complete as many trails as possible. If one of the two breaks than the other stays behind to help with repairs. There is nothing at stake but bragging rights for finishing 14 of Az's premier trails in two days. If your interested send me a PM for details.

Cool! you'll get the long distance award...We'll meet at Lower Woodpecker starting at 6:00 AM, I think your scheduled to leave between 6:30 and 7:00.
Here is a little poem by one of the Undertakers..
twas the night before marathon and all through the land,
not a wheeler was heard over the internet band.
the talking was over and the moment of truth near,
the rigs were fine tuned and loaded with gear.
eight trails to run and to be done in one day,
jeeps, buggies and zuks have all come to play.
it will be a true test of ingenuity and grit,
to keep up the pace and not fall to quit.
who will come out on top and take the title belt?
it's all in the cards and how the hand will be dealt!

anyone know how the runs at table mesa worked out? It was raining bad and for a while in the morning so I decided not to drive out there and run in an open buggy with it being raining and 50 degrees. Not my idea of fun.

Here is a few liks to a wet Anaconda from Sunday. I only wish there had been a camere at Twisted when we were there. It started pouring and the wash filled up fast. As I topped the squeeze notch my ice chest floated out the back of my junk over the tailgate! On dry land it sits 53" off the ground! Jay K. was ther taking photo's for 4wheel & Sport Utility, so look for the full story there in a few months....

That most of been a wrong upload for that pic. That's China Wash.
Table Mesa was a total blast. How often do you get to wheel our trails with water flow? Cleaning the rig afterwards kinda sucks, but I would do it again. :grinpimp:

Yeah no kidding, It took me about 4 hrs to clean my rig today, and I still gotta do the truck and trailer:rolleyes: It was definitely fun, not something Id want to do every weekend though.
