What should I expect to pay for a Dana 44 front from an f-250 and a dana 60 rear? Could you give me prices for individual axles, not combined? Thanks

Depends on the condition of the axles and the year truck they are from. 76 and older, I wouldn't pay more than 150 for the pair. the front will be a low pinion and the 60 will contain (most likely) 17 spline shafts. 77.5-79 are bringing more money due to a high pinion front and increased spline count on the rear 60. Probably expect to pay around 6-800 for a good set. these prices are based on my location and may not reflect market value elsewhere. BTW, I've got a set out of a 78 F250 Camper Special, need rebuiliding in the worst way (good chance to build em the way you want). I'd let em go for 200 for the pair.

Well I'm not really looking to build anything stronger than stock, I plan on running 35s now, with 36's-38's in the future. I just want to drop in 4.88 gears and lockers and run em. What needs to be to be done to those axles? Do you have any pics?
