I have a 2000 Ranger with a 3.0 5speed manual 2wd. I am doing a SAS with a fw d44 up front and was wondering what will i need to do for a transfer case. Is there anyway i can just hook up a T-case to my 2wd tranny or is there more involved. Also what kind of t-case should i get. I would rather have a manual to save countless hours of wiring and for durability and I have a np205 readily available from my SAS donor truck. Any informations is greatly appreciated :confused:

you could divorce mount a transfer case behind your 2wd tranny

the 3.0/mazda/mitsu 5 speed combo ain't really all that great. if it was me i'd save the money for a 302 swap with something like an NP435 4 speed, or buy a 4x4 to start with. just my .02
