Can I get some pics and ideas of what people used on this setup when they had to cut off the inner ear off the D300 T.C.? I am doing a home-made twin stick at the same time (made from 2 stock D300 sticks, one drilled to 9/16" to fit the 'big' part of the stock D300 pin). How do you mount the sticks with only one ear?

Like this: (http://www.brentroad.com/photo_photo.aspx?user=9041&photo=352628)

machine a piece of steel or whatever that fits the I.D. of the ear, with two bosses on each end that fit the ID of the shifters, then tap the two ends for retaining bolts.
This way, the other ear you have to cut off when you clock the tcase with a big trans as i had to do with a 465 is no longer an issue.

The Currie twin stick mounts only to the inner ear. The outer, or ear closest to the trans is not used or in my case cut off. I'll see if I can dig up a pic.

So doeas anyone out there have some pics of this? Or other twin stick pics using just the one ear? I'm about to grind off that ear to clock mine and I'm now thinking I may as well go with twin sticks if I have to do that.

My twin sticks mount to the tranny :D I mounted in place of the PTO port cover - didn't figure I'd ever need PTO...
