: 32RH to AW4 who has done it ?

have a 3 spd...want a 4spd

have a aw4 from a boneyard cherokee

going in a 1998 TJ with a 32RH

saw a post a long time ago about someone doing this but cant find anything in search

I think that you are going to have quite a job ahead. The 32RH (TF999) from your '98 TJ is all hydraulic controlled (except for the solenoid for the converter lockup) and the AW4 is all computer controlled (electronic). Your going to need a new computer and harness, at the least. You might be better off (read maybe less expensive and less work), finding a late 80's to early 90's (before electronic control) TH700R4.
At anyrate, if you end up with a "spare" 32RH, I'm interested in it.

If the aw-4 is mid 91 or older it will be the wrong spline output. It will be a 21 abd you need a 23 so get a 92+ to be safe. not sure on how to wire it in though.
