whats up everbody, I live out at beale Afb, Ca next to Marysville and got a 75 scout2,,345 4in skyjacker lift 1in shackles, 33in tires. Was thinking of selling my scout due to moving, (and a change of heart, guess Ive been bit my the scout bug pretty bad ) but thats not happening and there isnt a soul on base that I know that knows anything about scouts just wondering where you guys offroad, gotta fix a possible lifter problem, and after the lift she leans to the left really bad. At the least when I fix my lifters so its drivable, I can start rolling off base whould love to meet with other scouters, I have some questions about my scout and when I ask my friends they have no idea about scouts. Ive posted here a couple of times but never met anyone that owns a scout as well

IMO the lifter noise is a spun cam bearing .
As far as the leaning , you are missing the 1/2" spacers that go between the springs and axle .

Check out the "Binderbulletin" as mentioned above by my fellow Libertarian .

I do have the spacer in its on the passenger side on the front and rear. Im not new to scouts, just new to this site and wanted to meet other owners of scouts but if people like that are going to act like a holes then forget it :flipoff2:

Hey if you don't want to get burned then don't write anything but when you ask stupid questions about your truck that is leaning what the hell do you expect. I would suggest that you pull your head out of your a** then your truck might look like it is not leaning. :flipoff2:

Apparently you didn't lurk hear long enough. If you did you would have searched or accepted the info on going to another site for help. Instead you got your panties in a bunch and you'll have to pay somebody like IHOJEFF to help you.

I do have the spacer in its on the passenger side on the front and rear.Stupid question, is the spacer between the spring and spring perch? Did you try loosening up the shackle bolts to make sure something isn't bound up? If you just can't figure it out, swap the springs left and right. If the truck levels out, good, if it leans the other way, you may want to contact the manufacturer, and if it leans the same way, it's more likely to be a weight distribution problem (i.e. the battery, brake setup, steering setup and driver are all on the same side). Hope this helps. Oh, and the Binderbulletin would be a better place to ask this sort of question, but that's advice that I don't even follow.

Hay man I lived in marysville for a short time, I was right on the river. That place has got a shitload of "race ready civics" and other imports. The bumblebee sound could keep a guy up at night :shaking:

Look this site is great for doing homework (searchin) but I very rarely see a Noob (to this site) get a strait answer. So if your shit leans grab some spare leafs from a YARD and bolt them up. Check the one spacer in the front thats all you should have... and I think it goes on the drivers side? But I know their is only one. As for the lifter??? Call any mechanic in town tell him what you told us and I'll bet he will say "bring it in and let me hear it" So I dont know what makes anybody think they can come to Pirate for a DIAGNOSTIC TEST!
GOOD LUCK :flipoff2:
