Well, after great thought :smokin:  , I am planning on doing a Waggoneer spring for the rear of my 78 CJ7. I am looking for about 3" of lift with SUA? Which springs will give me the best ride for low $$$ and net 3" of lift? Would the HD JCWhitney Waggoneer springs work, or would the ride be harsh?

So, I have kinda figured the rear out, but I do not know about the front. The spring mount and shackle are to narrow to do a Waggoneer spring, but I want to use an offset spring for better approach angle. Should I just get someone to custom make some new spring mounts and buy a wider shackle, or Would another spring from something else fit?

Oh yeah, I just wanted to use this thingy cause its funny :flipoff2: :flipoff2: .

Rig some boxed designs onto the axle further in than the perches and you'll be able to use the coil suspension and radius arms...

It'll also make the ride behave. On a CJ, this would require a track bar as well...but the wrangler already has the frame mount.

I did this with a Ford high pinion and coil system from a Ford Bronco. Very satisfied and it flexed like a champ.

Only the shackle mount in the front is too narrow for wagoneers, it is easily replaced with a rear shackle hanger. 3" SUA with waggy springs... I'm not sure what you need to use I would go out and measure some of there springs, actually when I get a chance I will measure some for you and get the arch and you can get the arch on CJ spings and figure out the lift.
