I have a t-150 bellhousing that I will sale you............................................... .But you should be able to find one out there
And which one do you need? There's a couple.
I've got one from a J truck that had a V8. It's got the long adapter on it?

a t170 series bellhousing will work as well. i think the only reason FSJs with the t18 had a longer shaft than the CJ is cuz of an adapter between the bellhousing and engine. so if you remove the adapter, you no longer need the longer shaft. kind of a circular argument. oh well.
basically you need a bellhousing that will couple an AMC engine to a ford tranny. the only three i know of at the t170 series, t150 series, and, of course, the t18 series.
you could also swap in a np435 if you have any of the above bellhousings.
I've got on the the garage with the adapter for the J series truck T18 to amc engine.
Lemme take a looksie at it the next couple nights. I'll let you know.

I've got one, I think it's the same as another one I have here that had a T176 in a CJ. Do you need the square adapter that the J trucks used also? The reason the trucks used this with the long shaft tranny was to move the tranny back farther from the engine. Even trucks and waggy's using 360's and 401 used these. E amil me with an offer on the bell housing, I'm in Ohio and 4WD Hardware did stock these new. Later. charkdeb@1st.net

any one in the SAC area have one of these laying around. Rather not have to deal with shipping.
Is Monterey too far for you? I've got the one that was attached to the 401 I bought and I was told that it had a T18 on the other end, but I don't know which (long, short, Ford, Jeep) one it is. Let me know if you want to come down and check it out (PS Hollister is on the way.....;) )
