what is the difference betweeb radial load lbs vs static load lbs? I want to know because the aurora rod ends I have say they have a 16500 radial load rating. I was looking at the new QA1 chromoly rod ends and it says they have a 40000 lb static load rating. What is the difference?

aurora puts three numbers in their catalog radial static and axial. Radial is how much load it is designed to take in normal tension operation. Static is how much you can pull on it before it breaks. and axial is how much force to pop the ball out the side. I don't know how QA1 defines those terms.

You're looking for the ultimate radial static load. This is the load applied perpendicular to the bore of the ball in any direction.
