Clay has done a local (Utah)commercial for Tuff Shed. He drives his buggy over a few sheds and crashes down trough a metal shed. Way to get sponsors and air time for the sport Clay! It ends with Clay on top of a shed in his wheel chair.
If you don't know who Clay is, he is quadriplegic and competes in UROC West Extreme series in his hand controlled buggy.

I have not seen it but my spotter (CHOPS) saw it on TV here in Colorado, he was impressed. He told me about it and I got all excited and figured if Clay can do it, I can do it........
Regretfully, I didn't buy from Tuff Shed.

Unless he operates the rig with his mouth, Clay is likely a para, not a quad. Saw the add and replayed it in super slow mo (PVR). Cool stuff man. Nice ride, way to go Clay!

I think he is considered quadripalegic but still has enough control of his hands to drive.

he is quadripalegic. but worked hard to get use of his arms. good for him. He is a good guy and I now consider him a good friend. He came by the hospital a couple of times to see me and keep my spirits up. You guys should read his book, its motivating. Thanks Clay

he's definatly a quad... he has limited use of his hands, and some loss of arm control...

I'm hoping that this kind of exposure will not only help the sport as a whole, but open up new sponsorship opportunities for Clay. Maybe then we can put together a competitive new rig for him next season.
As for his current rig, we replaced alot of the original tubing before the commercial and Supercrawl, since the original tubework (lurking beneath rollbar padding and wraps of black duct tape) was down right scary. The unibody (don't ask me... :shaking: ) has definitely gotten it's a$$ kicked. Oh well, it looked fine for the shoot I suppose...
