can a header boost your gas mileage? if so what are your favorites for a toy 22re. ca smog legal & how much?

yes it should a tad but depends on driving style, i have heard the LC Eng ones are nice and ca smogg cet.

A header will almost always boost mpg by just allowing more air flow and such, im sure you knew that. :D I dont know toyotas but i have seen a few places that carry them just when i was surfin the net.

Headers always equal more power, it's the easiest way to get more power from any motor. And they almost always give better mpg, (at least thats what the mfg's always state).

I like Downey off-road the best. They've been doing and improving this stuff since the Toy P/u 4x4's came out. Buy the Downey catalog, you won't be disapointed. LC engineering has a great rep also, and northwest off-road, (just my opinion, don't buy anything else from Northwest Off-road but their header are supposed to be good). Search on Google for websites.

my brother runs a pace setter. Its worked good for a few years now. If I remember LC is some $$$
