Can I weld new shock mounts on an axle housing between the knuckle and the spring perch without dissassembling the axle. In other words will I hurt or cook anything inside the axle?:nuke:

Just do several short welds, it will be fine. THe only thing to worry about there is the outer seal but I don't think you could weld enough to heat it up just putting on shock mounts
