First is an 81 22R. Idles a little rough but runs good. Complete, carb to oil pan, with smog pump. No exh manifold with it though, but you can have the rest of the exhaust. Can hear it run, $200.

Next is an 82 22R. Just put it in my 82 and it runs good except for the vaccuum leak I am too lazy to find, so it has a vaccuum leak. Head looks to be rebuilt and dual row chain looks new too. Needs an exh stud helicoiled, but runs damn good. Just tuned it up. Not including an intake or carb or smog pump with it, but I will include the exh manifold. This thing runs fawkin strong, pulls my 36's with 4:10's pretty good. You can hear it run and drive my truck with it, asking $300.

IIRC, the 8/84 blocks and up had different blocks/heads. So it wouldn't interchange with your 85 head...

How much oil does that 82 burn? I think this is the motor I gave away for free :flipoff2: If it is it should run very good, just thought Id ask about the oil burning thing though :flipoff2: Get back to me

P.S. the syncros in that tranny are garbage, got bored and opened it up :D

Yeah, that's the engine, I just put about $100 into it for a tune up. :D And the time to swap it into my truck and get it running... I don't think it is using oil. I have only driven it 50 miles or so, just around town, since my truck is non oped :(.
