I have the detroit E-Z locker in mine and haven't had any problems with it. they are basically the same thing as a lockright. the only difference that I know of is one of them uses a biased spring and the other uses two springs. I have buddies that run the lockright and they really haven't had any trouble yet either though. I would go with which ever is cheaper.:D

I've heard that the Lockright clacker is better than the Detroit clacker. I ran a Detroit for about a year and proved it was stronger than the axle shafts :). The Lockrights I've seen for the D30 I liked better because they use double springs where my Sami Detroit only used a single. That should help it unlock...

I would recommend you get the cross pins (they call it a Side Gear coupler, or something stupid like that), I believe it was an extra $60. The Sami pins are designed for a rotating spider gear and not for the high compression force of the clacker design.

Oh, and get yourself a good stereo. So you can drown out....

I've found that lockright/ez lockers aren't nearly as bad as most people make them out to be as far as road manners and noise. I rarely hear mine clicking. But mine are in Toy axles, so YMMV.
