A customer has a tattered and worn hotwire mass air they wish to have rebuilt, can anyone recomend someone here in the states that does this?

Thanks,

Anyone? I'm interested in this too - looks like we determined that my MAF is kaput today. So I figured I would open it up and at least try to figure it out. Since it's broke already I won't be able to damage it any more!

If I can get it to do something, it might be nice to have as a backup MAF for my spares kit.

Thanks,

I got a salvage one from RCH last night. Verified that the MAF was the problem on their Autologic too.

It was for a '93 Defender which was a 3.9 but is now a 4.6.

just curious- what were the symptoms of the dead MAF?

intermittent non-responsive to airflow changes, and reading jumps around when you rap it with a screwdriver.
