Do they make for a 4wd tranny? Does anybody know if the 2wd version works? Anybody have one and like it or dislike it?

Don't know about the 727 but I use one on my Th-350 and it works great. Had to modify the rear mount a little to fit the fwd case but was no big deal.

Ditto. I run one on my th400 and just had to do some modification to the rear bracket. As far as I know, that is necessary on all of their shifters in a 4wd application.
